Youth Care Worker I
Position Description
p>Boys Town is taking applications for a Youth Care Worker in our Grand Island Shelter. This is for future positions only.

The Youth Care Worker will participate in the supervision and training of youth by assisting youth in acknowledging and accepting responsibility for behavior patterns, providing feedback, and teaching social and independent living skills. The Youth Care Worker will provide daily documentation of youth behavior and activity, coordinate and communicate with appropriate personnel regarding youth care and attend staff meetings and training sessions.

Requirements:

  • Requires a desire to work with youth
  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • Possess a valid drivers license with a good driving record
  • High school diploma or GED, prefer college degree in human services or related field.

    Benefits:

  • $10.65/hour
