Position Description

Pay Grade 34.  Minimum $9.55/hr. This position processes applications for new and returning students in addition to evaluating college and high school transcripts for admission purposes. Responsibilities include:

  • Processing admissions applications for prospective undergraduate students
  • Evaluating high school and college transcripts for awarding course credit and grade point average to assess admissibility to the University
  • Documenting and maintaining changes to the admissions files including securing update information and status changes
  • Answering questions from perspective students on admissions status; and making initial residency decision on new applicants. 

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High school graduate or equivalent with some college or business school preferred
  • Extensive office experience; experience in college setting preferred
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills and computer skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks with courteous disposition and high level of organizational skills.
